Spotify for Creators

Spotify for Creators is Spotify's platform for podcasters. It started as Anchor and was renamed, and it combines free hosting with a dashboard for shows that are on Spotify. You can publish audio or video episodes and distribute the RSS feed to other apps as well.

For small teams the appeal is the cost and the direct link to Spotify's audience stats, including how far listeners get through an episode. It also has tools for video podcasts and listener interaction on Spotify.

Read the current terms on monetization and ads, and on how your feed and files can be moved, before you build a show around any free host. It also lets you see comments and run polls for listeners on Spotify, which other apps may not show.
