AI voices, voice cloning and dubbing that translates speech into other languages while keeping a similar voice.
ElevenLabs makes synthetic speech. Podcasters and media teams use it for narration, for fixing a short line without re-recording, for voices in audio fiction, and for dubbing an episode into other languages so it can reach listeners who do not speak the original one.
Its dubbing tool transcribes the original, translates it and generates new speech that keeps a voice close to the speaker's. Voice cloning creates a voice from samples of a real person, and the service asks you to confirm you have the right to use that voice.
Get written consent from anyone whose voice you clone or dub, check translations with a fluent speaker, and tell listeners when a voice is synthetic. It also offers a library of stock voices, which avoids cloning anyone for narration or ads.
Not enough info yet on works with video, makes transcripts, mobile app. Check the tool's own site.
