About Auphonic

Automatic audio post-production that levels loudness, reduces noise and balances speakers to common podcast loudness targets.

Auphonic is an automatic post-production service for spoken audio. You upload a finished or nearly finished episode, choose a loudness target, and it adjusts levels so quiet and loud speakers sit closer together, reduces background noise and hum, and normalizes the result for listening apps.

It is built for podcasts and radio, and it handles multitrack uploads, where each speaker has a separate file, as well as single files. It can also add chapter marks and metadata and produce speech transcripts. There is an API for teams that want to run it automatically as part of a publishing workflow.

Listen to a few minutes of the processed file before publishing, especially laughter, music cues and crosstalk, which leveling tools handle less well than plain speech.
